Peter McNeeley pre-Tyson Fight
I got a chance to watch the Tyson vs. McNeeley fight finally on Youtube at the college library cus they got hi-speed internet in there. I knew McNeeley was all hype and was a joke, but how the hell did they get him that record? 40-1 with 36 KO's I think it was , and Don King had him ranked #7 by the WBA. What a joke. ;D I've never seen McNeeley b4 or since and I know he was KO'd by Butterbean in like 30 seconds or some shat, I heard he got sent to prison too. So what was the deal with this guy weren't his fights televised before he fought Tyson so as to hype him up? He must have really faced some bums. I do give the nut job some credit though, he did bum rush Mike Tyson, even though it got him knocked on his ass about 20 seconds in and eventually stopped.

mcneelys record is disgracfull. he fought all bums and not bums like bruce seldon or danny williams, he litterally fought homeless gronks. the only fighter he fought anygood was tyson and tyson should have got a ko to his record, that dq was bull shite, tyson ko that bum

After the fight McNeely did a commercial for pizza hut. He knocked himself out with the crust when he turned the pizza around to eat it backwards. Thats how much of a joke the guys was....The guys he beat were picked out of the crowd before the fight.

Cory Spinks is a retard. Mcneeley was too. That stare down was entertaining, McNeeley was laughing and tryin to look crazy and Tyson was just staring at him, his eyes following the goofy bastard back and forth, you knew Mike was gonna knock him the hell out. I looked up McNeeley on Wikipedia and I guess he got arrested for aiding in a robbery as the driver or some shat. Didn't mention prison time though. I guess him and his accomplices made away with a whopping $180 ! :o ;D Interestingly enuff, his Father was also a HW fighter and faced Cus D'mato's other HW prodigy, Floyd Patterson and was KO'd in 4.

I laughed so hard the first time I saw that. I guess he thought "Tyson's just a big bully, I'll rush him and put pressure on him and he'll fold in no time" and then BOOM he's on his ass almost immediatley.
