muscles involved in throwing a hook
So I took a month off from boxing to concentrate on my exams and started training again last night.
I feel like sh*t, my abs are sore as well as my shoulder muscles. Also I find it interesting that my power and technique is still there but my stamina is completely gone!
anyway my question, what is the name of the muscle (in my shoulder) that is involved in throwing a hook? and how should I stretch/warm up that particular muscle to avoid feeling sore again?
BTW I always warm up and stretch before training and I never used to get this shoulder muscle soreness before
Re: muscles involved in throwing a hook
the main muscle is the labia majora. Simply rub it really good to ease the tension.
