Any1 having trouble with downloads???

Sorry this topic is boring with no funny jokes or naked hot ladies or anything.

Just wondering if anyone else is having trouble downloading from the file sharing board?

Over the last 2 or 3 days, everything I have tried to download from megauploader or sexuploader or any of those sites, when it gets to around 15-20% it says that "the connection to the server has been reset" and my download stops.. it's a pain in the ASSSSSSSS when u're dying to watch some more fights....

Anyway if anyone's having the same problem or anyone knows what's up just let me know.. thanks guys.

Oh, and it's been fine up until about 3 days ago so it's not anything i'm doing wrong.. (i don't think)

Ive had the same thing happen to me, is it anything to do with to much traffic.

I'm not sure. I've tried downloading in different browsers but that doesn't help. I'm gonna try again in a few days unless anyone comes up with something that helps.

I haven't had any problems with downloads at times a download WILL slow down speed but thats about it.....

Yesterday I downloaded about 30 figths and I only had a problem with 1 of them because I had reached my limit... All I did was pause the download and I will resume it today.... Although also late yesterday (My time 1:00 am) I was haaving connection problems ONLY to Saddos and also this morning up untill now that I was able to log on....
So it might have been the site that was getting a little shakey....

Do you have Flashget?
This is a program thats designed to somewhat speed up your downloads very EASY to use... I would seggest you take a look at it. ;)

hehehehe :) seriously tho Mick's spot on.. Flashget is a nice download , speeds everything up and will keep you from having all the reset problems.

Damn 30 fights a day would be just wonderful!!! unfortunatly I can only look forward to my big fat 1 a day with my slow connection.. IFFFFF I can finally get one to actually FINISH...

But i'll give Flashget a try.. sounds good..

Okay! I think i've got it working now.
I installed and the programs logo was in the top right of the browser so I figured that whatever I go to download will be taken over by flashget and that'll do all the work. But I went to megaupload and hit download but it just started downloading as usuall without using flashget... Like the downloaded started in the little netscape downloading screen like usual..
But then I thought to copy the link that the megaupload gave me for the file and put that into Flashget and now it's downloading in there, so i'm sure everything will be fine now...

Thanks for the help! Should be able to get a few fights a day now.....
And don't worry about my few extra downloads, CMM is already getting 30 a day so if you've got bandwith trouble, direct your complaints at him ;D

Okay, i've just tried another download, this time in Internet Explorer instead of Netscape and upon hitting download, the file automatically transfered to Flashget... where as netscape I had to do it manually... So yeah it's working perfect through IE...
and I wasted 3 days watching files get to 17% and then just stop....

Next time your on the 'Megaupload' page or 'Megarotic' page (which ever site it happens to be)

On the 'Download' button instead of 'Left' clicking it 'Right' click it once and then on that list 'Left' click on 'Download Using Flashget'

Sometimes thats easier.... :)

- SECOND UPDATE -


Well I spoke to soon.. >:mad The download got to 80% this time in Flashget and stopped. It keeps trying to reconnect the download over and over but fails. It's almost as if the file changes, or the address for the file changes at the megaupload server, so my file stops and then it can't reconnect because the file has changed..

I'm trying again with the second file that i've got in my list but i'm pretty confident its going to stop short as well.

Anyway i'll post back with any updates, unless anyone's getting sick of my bitching,,, just give me an (anti -)cool click and i'll shuddup..

(Thanks CCM, you just posted as I was posting this message. i'll do that from now on, will be handy on other sites as well.)

I might try downloading a large file from a totally different page to see if it's maybe a problem with MY provider or computer... If that works I may try to contact megaupload or something to see if they know why it's happening.

Yeh mine kept cutting off at about 30/40 percent..

Havnt tried again since but i'll give it a go over the weekend

well, I can't download anything now.. Must have something to do with limits as I managed to download one full video today and havn't even been able to get one to start since..... I find it strange that after it stopped other ones it would actually let me start others if it had something to do with me reaching my limit.....
I think i'm going to stop being a cheap skate and purchase a few months of unlimited downloads.... just i'll be really pissed if I pay and I still have the same problem...
