He's just a freak show and end of the day he will have the blemish of 1 no contest on his record and 40 odd fights and he still has'nt really fought a top fighter nobody can compare him to Marciano

I'll give Valuev credit if he gets to 100-0-0, his next opponent is actually pretty respectable IMO.

Valuev may have a tainted history but lot's of Marcianos early fight (Rhode Island) were blantant 'gimmes' too ;)

I don't give a sh*t! if he reaches 60 wins fighting that level of competition DOES NOT get you P4P. I don't care how many fights you've gone undefeated....

I'll give him credit if he fights someone his own weight or more with the skill of marciano.

Honestly...Marciano's record don't mean shit to me due to the fact that there were a lot of questionables on it.

Then again...in boxing...you have to look at it as one round can change anything. So that being said...

Too many peeps are far too harsh on Valuev. I for one have become a fan & do not buy into hating him.

Every decision that he won was not a gift nor did the men lie down that he knocked out. Get a grip people & give the man some credit. He's gone from novelty to champion in no time.

Respect Maskaev...not matter WTF my fellow forum goers say.

I think he have to give him some degree of respect for his record. But P4P fighter he will never be, records have nothing to do with P4P its all about your skills.

Give him credit that he apears to be willing to face anybody in the world and he is just making the best of a fucked uo HW division.

However he is still a paper champion in my eyes

Im actually quite surprised at how he moves for a big man !!

He has a nice jab and right hand nothing Special but you see alot of smaller fighters running out of steam after 8 rounds but the big NV plods along keeps them coming and you cant ask much else .

Marciano is the 3rd most overated Humanbeing of alltime , did he ever ever ever fight a single fighter in thier prime ?
