ODHL-PBF Intangibles a wash.
Intangibles: Floyd has a boxer’s pedigree. Moreover, his father may offer sharp insights into Oscar’s weaknesses. Oscar has been taken out (by Hopkins), while Floyd has been seldom even wobbled.
Oscar has been in many mega fights and has great focus. As well, he can cement his legacy as one of the truly great fighters of our time with an impressive win.
As for conditioning and stamina, both fighters will be fit and ready.
Wash here as well.

What about Reyes gloves? Ring Size?
There, i'm clean. ;)
Re: ODHL-PBF Intangibles a wash.
Floyds will to take down the Golden Boy...(this is the only fighter that Floyd has been chasing for years)
Re: ODHL-PBF Intangibles a wash.
if the ring is a big one that plays into Mayweather's favor obviously, the pretty boy will be hauling ass all night long if the ring is a big one, as for the reyes gloves this plays very well into De La Hoya's favor seeing how he's the harder hitter by a long shot, and also Mayweather has his case of "brittle" hands or lack of punching power, both are fast but Mayweather gets the nod, DLH has the higher level of experience and has his head very leveled, not like Floyd who thinks he's greater than Ali, adversity goes again to DLH he's seen and dealt with it all, Floyd has fought lesser quality opponants (although he has very good names on his record as well) than DLH. I think that this is Mayweather's toughest fight, and I think that DLH has a better chance than anyone to beat him, and I say that his chances are pretty damn high, should be a good fight
Re: ODHL-PBF Intangibles a wash.
Using Reyes gloves is a plus on both sides...Oscar hits harder but Floyds hands will be faster.Even though Oscar has had more fights...I think that the experience factor is fairly even considering that Floyd was born into the sport.IMO I think Winky at a catch weight has the best chance to beat Floyd out of any boxer.
Re: ODHL-PBF Intangibles a wash.
I lean back & forth one the winner...but in my heart it's Oscar...my mind...hands down...it's Floyd.
Good chin, too slick, too fast, causes Oscar problem's all night.
Nothing washes here, IWO, other than the blood of Mehico & Montebello, Caki-laki offa Oscars trunks.
He's fwocked.

I been preaching ring size since this match was announced. . if its 24 - 27 foot . I think Floyd will win easy .. if its around standard size 16 foot then Oscar has the advantage. .. One can't hit what One can't get. Floyd usually fights when the conditions are in his favor.. Floyd usually fights in those big ass 27 footers . Oscar will have very little opportunity to set and fire if that’s the case. . I hope to see a small ring May 5th .. I'd love to see Floyd stretched out for the count ;)

Good points.
Re: ODHL-PBF Intangibles a wash.
Here's a write up that mimmicked an article of mine, but it's a list of the intangibles. Was my first comments on the fight.
There is Oscar's age and inactivity. Look at his last few fights. He squeeked by with a decision over Sturm, one he probably didn't deserve. Then the B-Hop fight. Then a year or so of inactivity before he beatdown Mayorga. Oscar is well past his best, Floyd is looking like he could be the best fighter of this whole generation. I mean on paper it seems like a no brainer. In fact sometimes I tend to beleive it'll be a wash but who knows?
Then there is Oscar's power. Oscar holds the power in the lead hand and Floyd makes a living off making the first punch miss. And he's faced a lot faster fighters then Oscar. But what happens when one does connect? Best case scenario for Floyd, the fight goes 12. He can't go 12 full rounds avoiding the lead left hook. So how is he going to react? I think the only time we've seen him rocked was against Chop Chop. And he reacted really well and came back to win the round. De La Hoya isn't Chop Chop. But in some ways his power is overrated imo since most of it is in that lead left hand (Oscar is left handed) and he doesn't deal to much damage with the right. But still, he's a smart fighter and he'll find a way to land.
Of course there is the weight. If I recall correctly (and I could be wrong) but didn't Floyd come in at about 154 the day of the Judah fight? He probably isn't going to put on much weight for De La Hoya so I don't think he'll be hindered to much. And how much will cutting weight effect Oscar? Not to much I don't think but you never know.
I think the thing that is most interesting is the spotlight. The stage. Floyd LOVES attention. Need proof? Look at his entrance versus Baldomir (which I found hillarious). De La Hoya has been the Gold standard for a while now. He is as accustomed to this level of publicity then anybody is. Compared to what Oscar has done, Floyd's career is a mere afterthought. So...how will Floyd handle this? He won't just be talking to Brian Kenny and website press every once and a while now, he'll be hit with an onslaught EVERYDAY in the two weeks leading up to the fight. Will it effect him? I tend to think it will just because he doesn't know how to say no to publicity. Oscar on the other hand has been through this for over a decade now.
IMO, Floyd is the safe bet. In fact I think he wins this fight going away. But there are all extras that don't guarantee that. Should be a fun couple of months for boxing fans in leading up to the fight.

Quite frankly I think Oscar would have the advantage either way there ;D Both men would only have just enough room to stand.
