Mayweather v De La Hoya to be shown free in UK.How much in USA ?

Just seen that Sky will be broadcasting this on Sky Sports 1 and not Box Office.

Really thought this would be first non-heavyweight fight that they would charge us for (without a Brit involved)


Still - am not complaining ;)

Just wondered how much its costing on ppv in US ??

And other parts of world ?

I was surprised at this too but theyve charged for all american fights in the lower weights before.

which ones ? can't remember any

Here in the US, I am guessing it will be about $50 which is like 25-30 pounds

Not loads but a couple that spring to mind is Hopkins - De La hoya and maybe De La Hoyas fight with Sturm too. Granted most PPVs are heavyweights but every now and then a big fight comes along that we have to pay for.

Yeah both of those fights were PPV, Hopkins was part of the De La Hoya-Sturm card too.

I can't think of any others. And how ironic one of the most boring funkers ever (Hopkins) was part of two PPVs in this country that didn't involve a star Brit (Naz, Lewis) or Tyson.

It's supposedly on HBO in the us.
