Gibbs vs. Joval
Anyone care about this fight? Certainly not top guys but a good fight none the less. It seems an almost 'even' match-up, if you like to wager a little here and there... Any thoughts? How far has Joval slipped? Is he shot even? He's definitely getting old, and hasn't fought in sometime. Any word over there about what he's been up to? Gibbs is flashy... he looks somehow impressive, you want him to be good, but thusfar he has failed to deliver... choked even at crucial occasions. His chin is suspect for sure, but then Joval doesn't hit that hard... Definitely a cross-roads for both guys. The winner will get the opportunity to get whipped by a top guy later, maybe even a title shot the way things go today... The loser becomes a relative journeyman. Who wins it?

Re: Gibbs vs. Joval
Gibbs' legs are totally shot, the way he was reacting to punches in the Edouard fight, who's not that big of a puncher, was odd, his legs were just shot. I mean he's young, but he almost looks punch drunk.
It was almost lucky that he got KO'd in one by Miranda because if it had gone any longer he would have just taken more of a beating. He just doesn't react well to getting hit, if he was a bit older I'd be sure he was shot.
I haven't seen Joval in a while, I guess the Vargas fight was the last time. It is lucky that he can't punch whatsoever, but I'd probably still favor him.

Re: Gibbs vs. Joval
Yup, it's true... Gibbs does appear to have a glass jaw. He seems to have all the form and skills, but thusfar he hasn't been able to take it on the chin at all... Yes, the Edouard fight was a borderline embarrassment. Did Gibbs have a good amateur background? He looks it. I agree, Joval.
