An homage to exploitation B-movie thrillers that combines two feature-length segments into one double-bill designed to replicate the grind house theatergoing experience of the 70s and 80s. In "Death Proof," a psycho named Stuntman Mike (Kurt Russell) stalks and kills beautiful women with his car. In "Planet Terror," a small-town sheriffs' department has to deal with an outbreak of murderous, infected people called "sickos." A gun-legged woman named Cherry (Rose McGowan) and her martial arts-wielding partner (Freddy Rodriguez) take on the zombie army.

I cannot wait to see this movie, especially since Tarrantinto shares my love for the female foot.
Sadly, I have some depressing news about the film that I read at www.bloody-disgusting.com
The film cost $100 million to make and $30 million was spent on promotion. Yet, it had an unexpectly poor opening box office this past weekend. It only grossed $12 million big ones. (I blame Easter.) Since the film did so poorly the company has decided to split them up, add extra footage to each, and release them sepertaly in Europe and then a re-release later in the US. They think one of the factor in it's poor showing is the 3hr. 10min. runtime.

For real man QT is so over rated. I like movies and quetin did well with Reservoir dogs, that True Romance (brad pitt is stoner) Jackie brown was good with samuel L. and obviously Pulp Fiction was his best in many's eyes.
I thought kill bill 1 and 2 were kind of disappointing.
So Grindhouse. I remember after seeing it I was feelin "holy shit that sucked". Ok, I may have missed that whole "grindhouse" sub-culture era of films but it wasnt anything to miss. Cause if that's how that shit was then that shit sucked.
The next day I didnt think it was so bad. If you like fire crotches than you will love Rose McGowan. She is good and is in both "parts". Two films, the first was definitely the better imo. It was directed by Robert Rodriguez and was the better. Then there is a little intermission with fake "ads" for fake movies. This is were I left to take a leak, but I caught the end bit of it and it was nothing original. Then Quinten's part had like 2 good scenes and then the other hour and however much was boring ass unrelatable aggrevating chick talk. Holy fuck. I was bored off my ass. I haven't been that bored watching any movie in years. Who gives a shit if the car chases were "real" (not computer generated) it still was a shitty movie. Fuck that.
Ever since Quinten tarantino started sponsering movies I.E. getting paid to stamp his name on them and endorse them I lost respect for him and his big chin stoney ass. Fucker.
And that is the real deal.
