John Ruiz Vs Buster Douglas

We alway's do the greats against the greats when it comes to prime on prime. But it's time to do goat vs goat. Who takes this fight prime on prime. I think John is too good of a wrestler to lose this match at anypoint in his career, he should have been an olympic wrestler.

At one point he got up too close to 400 pounds. Don't know how you can make all that money (Holyfield) and not be motivated to make more, look at Oscar De La Hoya.

For the record, I think the "Tyson" Douglas would've murdered Ruiz. He would've managed to keep Ruiz off of him with his excellent jab (from that night)... and beat him senseless.

Any other "Douglas version", Ruiz would've mauled and hugged to death.

Ok, so I'm not going to match the two up for the sake of my own sanity but I think we all should have a soft spot for Ruiz. As much as we say about him, he ducks absolutely nobody. And the Toney fight was entertaining. I mean seriously he ducked nobody and that's something you have to respect.

Yup . Everyone seems to forget about that .

Also when Ruiz fought Holy the second time he was K.o'd by a body shot and was down for a while but the ref didnt count it . Replays show it clearly wasnt low but the incompetant ref fell for Ruiz' play acting .

Douglas owns Ruiz with his left hand . Ruiz would make it ugly but in the end Douglas would be too good
