Valuev, A Gracious Champion
He accepted defeat and said the judges got it right. I really respect him for that. Mostly any other fighter would have bitched about the decision. I think Valuev has beeen very positive for boxing and I hope this isnt the end of him as he is a credit to the sport.
Re: Valuev, A Gracious Champion
Maybe because he knows that he is not that good in his fight. ::**

hehehe. that's why he was gracious. Jorge Arce is also gracious because he knows that he lost the fight, GRAVELY.
Re: Valuev, A Gracious Champion
I didn't see the fight but you got to respect any man who stays gracious in defeat! Valuev doesn't seem like a bad dude just doesn't really have much skill, no reason to hate on the guy, lots of people would have talked shit about the person they lost too or how it was a robbery and all this other shit, plenty of boxers do. So anytime someone can just say they lost to the better man you got to respect that imo.

I agree to be gracious in defeat in a thing i admire, so after the John Ruiz fight he must of been so emotional they robbed ruiz of the fight,he couldnt speak he was trying so hard to fight back the tears. But to single out Valuev for abuse is harsh as everyone knows it is the whole division which is a disgrace at the minute
Re: Valuev, A Gracious Champion
apologies i was a little harsh saying the whole division was a disgrace. We now have David 'If i was made out of chocolate i would eat myself ' Haye to look forward to. Ohhhh HAPPY DAYS
