~Freddy Curiel vs. Ross Minter~ The Contender Challenge USA vs. UK (VIDEO)

I just finished uploading the KO punch that Curiel landed on Minter minutes ago.
I only recorded the last round :P by the time I got home I missed the 1st rounds...

We've seen some GREAT KOs so far this year this is surely to be one of the best along with Andrey Tsurkan KO win over Sammy Sparkman..

I read that the WHOLE fight was really good they're gonna replay it here soo I'm gonna watch later.

It was a good fight.
I was watching the fight and I had to go to boxrec in the 7th round to see how this would end. Curiel was behind on points and I was getting sort of nervous so I had to peek at the outcome. Although I knew the result before it happen, it was still a great knock out. The kind that make you cheer.

Yeah! I knew the outcome even as I was recording it, I wanted to cheer!!! inside I was but I did't wanna yell or anything...

I would have ruined the recording if I would have yelled!! ;D

Yeah that was a good k.o., the weird thing about that one, it looked like Minter fell forward, and knee'd himself in the face when he went down. Im American, and I was kind of pulling for Minter..because he looked good through 5 but definately tuckered out in the last few rounds.Gotta give Freddie credit was a good 2 punch counter.

I just watched the fight in it's entirety last night and Minter was really beating up Curiel in this fight but somewhere around round 5 Minter lost a step or two and you can see his activity decline somewhat. He was still coming forward but wasn't moving his head and wasn't letting go punches.

It does appear that he did knee himself but if you look at the 1st replay 2nd angle you can see his chest is what makes contact with his knee.

Your gonna love the fight it was a good scrap as Curiel through the fight was landed solid hard punches here and there.

Ross Minter will come again i've known him since 1st school and is a real gentleman outside the ring unlike the rest of his family !

That clip didnt do him justice i think he will bloom into an even better fighter he started very late in the game but has developed at an astonishing rate !!

He handled his 1st big test a local derby with a Hot Chas Simmons with a steely ice cold resolve he truly has big bollocks and a cool head at the same time !!!

That night was was unbelievbly tense there'd been alot of trouble before hand outside the arena and inside the arena you could smell the testosterone but Minter proved he could handle it he was very professional and did a number on Simmons !!

Alot of people dont realise that Minter is actually very adept at slipping punches just not on that night against Curiel .

Minter was all over him!

Great fight and that sort of fight makes boxing what it is.

Whats Frank Warren's interest in this Contender programme? He looked gutted when Minter was ko'd!
