The promotion offers fans an opportunity to gain unique insight from a championship fighter preparing for a major world class bout, through an online journal, where De La Hoya shares his thoughts both prior to and directly following Saturday’s main event.

I read in the paper today that the fight has over 20 sponsors. They have an official tequila, official beer, official restaurant ect. Since they've been in Vegas all these companies have been out in full force. I wonder if Wack scored some tequila.

Here's to hoping we don't see a "More meat, less fat" commercial with that fatass guy Jerad. That would be embarrassing.

You know, this is actually very good.
The potential in significance of this is tremendous, seeing boxers in the forefront of mainstream sponsors again. Like SRL doing 7-up all over again.
Sure, Oscar already had mainstream popularity to begin with, but to throw him out onto the forefront of the scene again and during the eve of this huge fight is great for the sport.
It's a wake up call to other mainstream sponsors. All eyes are onboxing this weekend.
It's a huge step in putting boxing back on the mainstream.

I am in Vegas and shit is wild out here. The media the fans and boxers are all going wild for the fight. I have never seen anything like it. Sportcenter and other various sports networks are covering the fight and they never cover boxing. Danny G is reporting subway contracts, there is a million and one threads on Saddo about the fight, even my mother mentioned it the other day. This fight is crazy, hope it lives up to the hype because Tito Vs Oscar did not.
