Does anyone think that Oscar v floyd could resemble chavez v taylor?
could floyd win the whole fight in the judges scorecards with flashy hand speed and combos but take more punishment....and be stopped late esp if the ref is jay nady...if de la hoya scores a knockdown nady will stop the fight regardless of whether or not floyd can continue....
just though about the differernt ways the fight could resemble the older ones...
foreman v moore
taylor v chavez
or it could be mayweather v hernadez
or tyszu v judah

In a word...HELL NO!!! Haha. Mayweather does have great hand speed but he's never thrown the amazingly fast flurries that Meldrick did in his prime. De La Hoya doesn't have Chavez's relentless agression. Based on past fights, if Mayweather shows a little strength I think tonight could end up resembling Quartey vs De La Hoya. Quartey was 5'7 with a 71" reach with a great jab and great defense. Mayweather is 5'8 with a 72" reach with a great jab and defense but he's much better than Quartey. That fight was awesome. If we get a flow like that fight, this will be an instant classic.

Floyd like running and avoids trading, how would he resemble Quartey??
Re: Does anyone think that Oscar v floyd could resemble chavez v taylor?
No chance. Floyd fights completely different than Taylor (which is why Floyd is better)
This fight has a much better chance to look like Chavez-Whitaker.

You obviously don't know Floyd Mayweather. Sometimes I wish people would think about what they are saying. Oscar is the one that had the crowd booing the hell out of him because he didn't wanna fight or even box Trinidad in the final rounds, Oscar is the one that made the Hopkins fight a complete bore, Floyd's not the track star in this fight. OSCAR IS!!! Floyd HAS NEVER ran like Oscar De La Hoya, and that's a fact.
