Re: Can Any One Help Me Drop 4 KG
There are some good tips in the weight loss advice post - just look further down the page.
Also if you are not looking to loose weight just for the day I wouldn't bother with sweat suits.
I used to try to hold my weight down between fights which were only a week or two apart and found it near impossible for the second fight.
I was told that holding a semi-dehydrated state makes your body decide water is a precious resource and you loose less of it and hold onto more - making you HEAVIER!
A similar concept to the idea of completely cutting out carbs etc and being more prone to gaining weight again when you give in and eat.
If you drink more water you'll be more likely to loose weight.

Adams the man, I was going to say do you have much to loose? If not why not fight at the higher weight which will be more or less you're natural weight, it's not like you're a champion who's gotta cut weight.

a good case of mono will knock that weight off no problem! ;)

One way to lose weight properly...sweat. My trainer makes us do ten rounds of sparring with only body punchin, so as u gotta stay on ur toes...works a treat! ;D

nooooo no no no no
This is a mistake lots of people make. Sweating out weight is not helping you at all i can't remember the stats exactly but its something like if you sweat out one litre you lose 10% of your muscle endurance and power. Sweatign otu weight is not losing weight properly your just losing water which is a necessity for boxing. you cant fight dehydrated..not well anyways. if your want to lose weight do it properly and lose fat. it's not safe to sweat out alot of your fluids.
How tall are you? Do you reeeallly need to lose 4 KGs? caus ethats alot of weight. i think stay at a weight where you feel your best.
WHATEVER YOU DO! DO NOT SWEAT THIS WEIGHT OUT!! an overnight sweat out thing is okay before a weigh in but tahts as far as i would go.
Hope this helped :)
