Heavyweight contenders Matt Skelton and Michael Sprott came face to face today at the Majedski Stadium in Reading.
The pair will clash at the ExCeL Arena on May 26 in London - and both are confident of victory and securing a world title crack later in the year.
Skelton will start as favourite following his 12th round KO win over Skelton in Reading in 2004, which confirmed him as a force to be reckoned with.
"Obviously I've beaten Michael before so I can take a lot from that fight," said Skelton, the current Commonwealth king.
"But he's been boxing well recently, and his confidence will be high after his victory over Audley Harrison.
"Hand on heart, I thought Harrison would be too strong for him in that fight, but he proved me wrong. I won't be underestimating him again."
He also shrugged off suggestions that a 10-month lay off will put him at a disadvantage.
"I've been keeping busy in the gym, and to be honest, the break has done my good. There will be no ring rust."
Sprott's life was turned upside down thanks to his shock third round KO over Harrison in February, and he promised to build on the unexpected opportunity it has given him.
"People didn't think I'd beat Harrison but I never stopped believing in myself," said Sprott.
"I'll be going into the Skelton fight in the same frame of mind. I didn't do myself justice in that first fight, but I feel I've learned a lot since then.
"I'm still young for a heavyweight, and I can progress from the Harrison win. It has really left me buzzing."
