I must give props to Oscar's Golden Boy Promotions

This was a well promoted fight and professionally done without any scam and shennanigans a la Don King.

I was actually proud to be a boxing fan. I went to my uncle's crib to watch the fight and he was like, "I didn't know you were a boxing fan". The reason he said that is because I never usually congregate with them to watch any fights because I thought most of the previous fights that were put on weren't worth it to begin it. It was a good night bonding with the older guys in my family.

Golden Boy Promotions need to push this type of fight promotion model and they will do wonders.

As for me, I personally do not beleive that Calzaghe deserves a shot at Taylor, but if Golden Boy Promotions get hold of this fight they can really make it into an international event.
