-'Macho' Camacho facing 7 yrs. in jail (Update Camacho IS sentenced to 7 yrs.)
My, my, my this I have to say is quite sad to see IMO...
It looks like 'Macho' Camacho Sr. broke into a Computer Store because he was trying to get his laptop from the store it was there to be fixed and I guess he needed it ??? He was sent straight to jail because a Bondsman complained about him... This happened in Mississippi. He is facing up to 7 yrs. in jail.

Have you ever turned your TV in to a TV repair shop? They literally take months. It was a good thing for me though because my parents dropped theres off, a month later and a crappy TV in their room, they got a DLP that I watch FNF on now 8) But yeah, not something you do sober but I doubt it was something he didn't want them to find.

Mick just because someone has a history of drug abuse and need their computer at an odd time while pacing back and forth with a runny nose and a pulse reading 160-120....Does not mean drugs are involved!!!!!
Are you actually trying to make us believe EVERY TIME!!! Hector Camacho SR...Steps out into the public during the middle of the night and is found with a glass tube containing cocaine residue after commiting a crime and being awake for several days eye's wide as plates while rambling about something making no sense...Screaming you can't arrest me they are selling two for fifty at the spot.....And Hector has to be subdued with medication so his heart rate lowers preventing cardiac arrest....
Drugs have to be involved....
I think you are stereo typing Hector Sr. >:mad >:mad
He was doing research for a possible movie role.... :action:
You have to think positive :D

Well here is a follow up to that news story:
I took this from another forum:
Too bad he's in jail, but this is actually kind of funny when you read what his attorney says happened vs. the attorney on the other side...
GULFPORT, Miss. -- Three-time boxing champion Hector "Macho" Camacho was sent to jail Monday after pleading guilty to a 2004 burglary charge.
Camacho faces up to seven years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000. Circuit Judge Steve Simpson delayed sentencing, but ordered him sent straight to jail because a bail bond agent said he hadn't heard from Camacho for more than two years, the Sun Herald reported on its Web site.
Camacho, who is being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center, won super lightweight, lightweight and junior welterweight world titles in the 1980s. His last title bout came against then-welterweight champion Oscar De La Hoya in 1997, a loss by unanimous decision.
A warrant was issued for Camacho on Dec. 22, 2004, for a November burglary of a computer store. He was arrested in January 2005 on the burglary charge, and was also charged with drug possession after police allegedly found ecstasy in his hotel room at the Imperial Palace. Trial on the drug charge is tentatively set for June.
In a written statement in January 2005, Camacho apologized for the break-in, which caused nearly $13,000 in damage and losses at ZDI Computer Center in Gulfport.
Camacho had bought a laptop from the business but had left it there for work on technical problems. He was trying to retrieve his computer, his attorney, David Morrison, said. The break-in was "a momentary lapse in judgment," he added.
Morrison said negotiations had taken place with the business owners, Solomon and Samantha Wheeler, until their attorney made an "outrageous" demand for $500,000 to avoid media exposure.
Wayne Woodall, the Wheelers' attorney, claims Camacho fell through the ceiling, cut himself, urinated inside the office and left with seven laptops and about $5,600 in checks and cash.
Camacho has had several brushes with the law involving drugs, his driving habits, and domestic assault. When he was 16, he served 3 1/2 months in a New York prison for auto theft.

Re: -'Macho' Camacho facing 7 yrs. in jail (Update Camacho IS sentenced to 7 yrs.)
While the site was down PR legend Hector 'Macho' Camacho was sentenced to 7 yrs. in jail after he plead guilty to robbery.
Re: -'Macho' Camacho facing 7 yrs. in jail (Update Camacho IS sentenced to 7 yrs.)
Wasn't he allowed to serve 6 of those under house arrest though?
Re: -'Macho' Camacho facing 7 yrs. in jail (Update Camacho IS sentenced to 7 yrs
he got off easy it sounds like. But that is fine. I do not wish prison or jail on anyone just to prove a point. But sounds like he got off easily.
