Holyfield to face Savarese!

Former four-time heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield (41-8-2, 27 KOs) says he will be fighting Lou Savarese (46-6, 38 KOs) on June 30.

Savarese is a bum, a buffed up bum, but a bum none the less. Seems like you and me and BESTP4P wherever he may be are da only ones still up actively posting. So why don't you come BS with me in da boxing chat room, I was discussin girl troubles with BESTP4P but I got disconnected and then I think he split. So hit me up in there, I'm the only sucker in there right now. ;D

Also Holyfield should not be wastin his time with Savarese, this really is a pointless fight, Savarese hasn't even been a gate keeper for YEARS now. :-\

He only lasted 38 seconds with Tyson and he were'nt bad then

I met him while I was doing some work in New York, He was walking down the street eating some fried rice... It was right before his bout with S.Briggs that never happened, He seemed like a nice enough guy, But Holyfield will win this by KO> 8)

I agree that this is a waste of time for Evander. What does this do for him in the way of a title shot? Just keep him fresh until he gets the nod?

He is a great guy, but he has taken some concussive beatings (Izon and Johnson). Time to stop fighting.
