Peneosa had the right style to beat Ponce,and he didn't.Rey is far too open,and although he will land on De Leon,I don't think he'll be able to take Ponce's punch. Stoppage fpr Ponce but I love Rey so I hope he does well. Should be a great fight,yet another one in this awesome year for boxing imo! Soo many great fights already and mroe to come?!

yea he did big time(if you watch though you can see that punch was landed at the side of his head or back of his head which is a dangerous spot to punch a boxer), but boomboom is so young though, and his the kind of person that loves to listen and learn. So I'm sure his going to learn from that experience, I'm actually proud of the puppy he stood on his feet then later knock down his oppenent. But it was a clear win for boom boom.

The de leon fight is going to be a good one.

This is a bad fight for Bautista to head in to straight after the Medina fight, IWO. Medina really hurt & befuddled him at times. Still a lot of work left to fix Bautista.

Boom boom is too open? Nahh man he's tight with his style..Hes just so open for counters..

Ponce de leon thou..I have the feeling he is the more powerful..But his shots are wild and swinging..

I'd favour boom boom if it went to a decision..

But i know rey has been rocked a couple times and none of those opponents hit quite like Daniel..

De Leon is too much for him at this stage and imo he shouldnt go looking for him. De Leon is fighting the best he ever has and i really do think he can knock him out. it would be such a shame as well because he is so young and talented and it would be a "L" he could have easily avoided and still get respect. He needs to fight big names but needs more experience at the higher level IMO.

Boom Boom may win but NO WAY in hell would he stop Ponce. De Leon is P4P 1 tough mo fo. Anyone who has not seen hi WAR with Caballaro has to see it,Ponce was getting his ass handed to him but STILL kept fighting back,showing tru warrior's heart. And Penelosa style is totally different from thayt of Boom Boom and Gerry is also 1 tough tough dude. Not many could have taken those body shots Danile gave him!!

That the main part,none hit anywhere near as hard as Ponce. And Boom Boom leaves himself open when he throws combinations,the Argentian due caught him ALOT as the fight went on. Don't get me wrong,Bautista is a SUPERB fighter but he is rough around the edges. Ponce is not smooth but I think his strength,ruggedness and power will see him through.

Ponce' shots are wild at times but he has been throwing straighter and when he mixes it up,it adds to his unpredictability,making him even more dangerous.

Its fair to say..There are alot of things could happen in this fight..

Its about who gets there first.. I thought penalosa..Well exposed is too big a word..But he showed cracks in the style..And it was particularly the style not the skill of Ponce..

Off the top of my head i would say de leon..But i wouldnt count out boom boom one bit...

Well, then he is to open right?
I mean, if he is to open for counter punches then that would basically mean he is to open, right?

I guess if Boom boom has become the mandatory and he believes he can win then he has to go for it... But Id rather see De Leon try and unify against Rafael Marquez and get completely massacred.. Don't know why but I don't like Ponce, guess I just can't appreciate how wild he is. He could get beat down by Israel Vasquez as well if he doesn't move up..

When i watched penalos de leon i was expecting a massacre but after the early round penalosa realy started to impress me nd started to out box deleon nd took his shots well through out even though he steped up in weight to fight a man that probs in the top 10 p4p 'punchers' who doesnt seem to get tired so ill get to the point al though ive been realy impressed by bautista nd would want him to win but at the age of 20 im not sure hes ready i think he should fight a couple more contenders first. I think Super bantamweight is is the top division at the moment i mean the 4 world champs cabelero,marques,de leon nd molitor who im suprised hasnt fort since hunter ne1 no y? nd vazques, bautsta, dunne nd a couple of other waitting for a title shot so at the moment i dont think there is a stronger division, WW nd SF i think r also strong.Sorry for going off the point

This is another fight where you dont want either to lose, I dont know how to pick this one, but De Leon has the exp edge. He also did box alot more against Penalosa than his usual. I gotta pick Bautista just because I think he can brawl with De Leon and it should probably end in a k.o. Both have those hard luck stories and you cant help but root for them.
