7/7/07 Let's say that wlad's chin fails him again...
Wlad has his rematch with brewster (i can't watch this because i dunno how to order non-ppv hbo/showtime matches and will probably be watching the transformers movie premier) the guess is that wlad will avenge his loss but what if he doesn't? Then there would be two americans who each hold 1 of the 4 legit belts. Brewster and Briggs have a fight and we have a unified title held by an american.
edit: I'm not saying that i'd celebrate either champions reign but atleast sports shows would quit asking where the heavyweights are at.

From a global aspect the heavyweight division is back to square one but know many americans know the state of the heavyweight division to begin with? having Two American champions that could potential unify against each other would be huge.

If brewster can beat wlad he can beat any other soviet bum and if briggs can beat austin he can handle his fair share too.
Re: 7/7/07 Let's say that wlad's chin fails him again...
Vlad's chin could fail him again. But with Steward that is more unlikely. But if Brewster hits him again, Vlad's chin will fail him again. I think there is a good possibility of Vlad losing.. In any fight. His chin is terrible, but with Steward he is learning how to use his size and not get hit clean. But eventually a punch will land and he will be exchamp.. Chin's do not get better.

Just call your service provider and ask what HBO channel that program will be for viewing, And get that Channel for the month, They might tell you that you need to get the package in order to do so, Just do it, It is only 15.00 bucks.

I guarantee you that Wlad left hook stops Brewster, He didn't have that in his arsenal last time around.....This will be and easy an quick fight for Wlad...Trust me.

Re: 7/7/07 Let's say that wlad's chin fails him again...
personally i hope Wlad KO's Brewster, nothing against Brewster, but Wlads on the right track to bring the HW back to a "STABLE" condition!
Re: 7/7/07 Let's say that wlad's chin fails him again...
Brewster and briggs may be slow and possibly boring to watch but they are ko artists. They both have the highest ko ratios among active fighters aside from wlad (vitali's not included). A unified soviet champ does nothing to help the problem in america. Yes briggs and brewster aren't great fighters that will have really long title reigns but how many heavy's have had substantial reigns? Until a solid end all heavy shows up, it would be best to atleast have a unified title in american hands if it is only for a few months.

I fancy Brewster to win again

Wlads (as per your previous approval i will again replace the word glass with suspect) "suspect" chin has a much better chance of failing against a power puncher than a gravitational orbit that been in place for milleniums at this point has of breaking down. (If it does happen tho i want front row seats because the earth would be screwed and atleast i'd have an awesome veiw as i died)
Re: 7/7/07 Let's say that wlad's chin fails him again...
:coolclick: Punisher.
Good debate...but I don't see anyway in hell that Wlad loses this fight.
I also don't see how Brewster can be in worthy shape by the time the fight comes around. Last I heard he had ballooned up a bit.
The thing that pisses me off about boxing fans & sports casters asking who are "the current heavyweight champs of the world"...what does that say for those who asked?
Tell them fwocks to pay closer attention to boxing & they might know. ;D
