One of the many routines you can do with fit balls what are different Ill put some more up in a bit ;D
At first glance I found the title to be a little suggestive. ;D
Anyways I've seen that done by basketball players, but the question here is why should a boxer do it?
Your working on dexterity, hand eye coordination n such.. Great drill scrap cc
rocky and his bouncy ball. I assume that would work also
I've started playing a lot of basketball (college gym I work in has a court... ;D), find it helps my hand eye co-ordination.
Often we focus on how much, how heavy and how hard we can do things... but not enough on developing our nervous system. You can gain a lot of strength through stronger muscle contractions with out actually gaining mass by developing your nerves.
Do a one legged squat for a few reps, now do the same with your eyes closed! ;)
nice 1 scrap cc, i used to play national junior level basketball, always followed boxing from a young age, gave up basketball due to work and college, about 3 yrs ago, and took up boxing about a yr and a half ago, coaches have said ive picked it up fast, due to hand eye coordination and reflexes, ive got some pretty good drills if antones wants more info PM me.
Weve been doing these things for the last 6 years theres some more ill put up as we go along
Hey, galley, just post em. I think we all would like as many drills as we can get.
