Boxing in Stoke, Saturday night - womens bout.

Ok I watched the ladies fight, perhaps with more interest than most, seeing I'm a lady and have done some training myself (and the competitor in me was saying I'd murder them both ;D)
Both fighters were limited but keen to fight and despite arseholes in the crowd shouting 'hit her with your handbag' it was an entertaining enough fight. Most people stayed to watch and didn't rush off to down a beer, perhaps out of curiosity, I don't know. The point is this, boxing is about skill, yes no doubt but it's also about entertainment and compared to some hug-fest filled fights I've seen, it did it's job.
