Arum indicated that he had to find out if former super featherweight champion Marco Antonio Barrera “is still under contract or not” although Golden Boy Promotions insists he is. Arum made it clear he was “not going to deal with Barrera unless he shows us that there is no contract.” Arum indicated he was informed by Barrera that “he can do that (fight Pacquiao) but we’ll have to see.”
Arum disclosed that the handlers of Joan Guzman have told him today “they want the fight” and have shown Top Rank the documents that Guzman’s promoter Sycuan “have the right to make the deal for him” adding “ I don’t think that’s an issue.” He also said Guzman’s people had told him that Guzman’s injured hand which forced him to pull out of a May 26 lightweight title fight against Michael Katsidis would heal in time for him to begin training for an October 6 fight..

Lets get it poppin, any one of these guys guzman valero or soto i'd love to see pac against. now that pac seem to have little chance of winning for congress, He can focus 100% on whooping asses, pac will eventually k.o either one of them, prolly will scare the shyt out of the others afterwards but hopefully the others will be next.

I want to root for him in his next and possibly last fight and if its against pac i can't do that so i hope its not against pac.

Pac needs that 5 months. He still nursing his wound after a serious butt kicking he received from Darlene on congressional race.
Anyways, It will be a de javu or even worst for Barrera if he takes on Pac again. So what's there to see?
Valero, Soto, JMM, and Guzman are greater threat to Pac. That's where we going to see blood and guts war.

yeah don't worry pac would fight all that names very soon being the true warrior he is. whatever his promoter has planned for him, he has no complaints and premadonna acts because he truly isn't afraid in taking all the unpopular but career threatening as tune up fights even if money isn't that so big unlike the "you know who" at least pac is open on giving everybody the chance to beat him and what does that add to him as a great fighter? you're right, "More RESPECT".

Valero or Guzman I would be happy with. Guzman is sick as hell and I don't think that's a matchup Pacquiao would want because that is a style nightmare of sorts for Pacquiao. Guzman proved he can handle pressure against Barrios which was the big if with him. MAB won't happen because of Golden Boy (I hope) so...who does that leave?

NO WAY MAB!!! Come on guys,MAB couldnt handle the pressure of a slightly fading JMM who is not exactly renowned for his pressure is he? Man y is in his prime,he would crush MAB. MAB needed to make that fight happen at least a year ago,before his wars with JM and the2 with Juarez. If you want to see MAB in the ring with Pac monster now,he's going to get annihilated. He doesn't have the skill to frustrate him for the whole fight,and he doesnt have that fire he used to have bang anymore! Lets get real here!
