Very Supersticious ....The writings on the wall!!!! HATTON v CASTILLO
Being close and good mates i reckon they've chatted with regard to Chico Corrales and will go at it like Maniacs from the off out of pure respect.
Hatton haters will see the real Hitman this time out, mark my words ;)
35 days and counting.
Hatton TKO Round 11 (He's in superb shape and HAS NOT piled on the pounds for this one) 8)
Gwaaaaan Ricky.... Blue Moon! :britain:
Re: Very Supersticious ....The writings on the wall!!!! HATTON v CASTILLO
I've voted for a Hatton KO cause the bigger the fight the more that he fronts up to it, so I reckon we'll see a classic performance, now he isn't fighting an awkward, difficult southpaw. Either way I hope it's a tear up, and any "Winning on points" tactics go straight out the window.
Can't wait.
Re: Very Supersticious ....The writings on the wall!!!! HATTON v CASTILLO
I see nothing other than a WAR ZONE in that ring 8)
Getting excited about the styles gelling nicely too ;)

I fancy a Hatton TKO around round 9.
Re: Very Supersticious ....The writings on the wall!!!! HATTON v CASTILLO
I see it earlier...Hatton TKO Rd 8.
Cometh the hour, cometh the man! Come on Hitman!
Re: Very Supersticious ....The writings on the wall!!!! HATTON v CASTILLO
I'm going with Castillo decision. I think Castillo's early body work is gonna pay off mid-way to the end of the fight.
C'mon Castillo don't get lazy.
I would like to add that this is probably the most evenly matched fight of the year so far, so I wouldn't be surprised
with any outcome.
Re: Very Supersticious ....The writings on the wall!!!! HATTON v CASTILLO
I'm going for a Castillo TKO purely because Wayne Rooney is carrying Hatton's IBO belt down to the ring. Bad news having a man utd players accompanying a man city fan to the ring. I'm a city fan and trust me i know when the writing is on the wall. As soon as i heard the news a said to myself 'Hatton is going to lose!'
Please be wrong :-\
Re: Very Supersticious ....The writings on the wall!!!! HATTON v CASTILLO
not long at all is it! Im backing my boy Hatton to win this one. I think we will see the best in Hatton due to the fact he knows he has to impress and castillo is the key to even bigger things. so im hoping that Hatton can show us what he is made of once again and truely push castillo to the limit. im hoping for a good fight and see Ricky getting back to 147 after it.

Good lad for bringing that up ;)
I'm a little concerned myself about that because Ricky does not like a body shot, strange because what goes around comes around and the Hitman has forged a Career out of the same punch ;D
One thing i am 100% sure of is that Ricky will bleed for Queen and Country and keep coming on like a Lion. 8)
Gonna be a proper tear-up and Hatton wants this sooooo badly, deep down and style wise i'm 100% sure that this is the fight, fighter and stage of his dreams as a pro so far :)
Unless you live in Britain you won't get the jist of just how much of a legend to us this boy is ;D.
Top fella

Cant wait for this one its gonna be a tear up!!
I think Hatton is going to win by a late TKO, I think Castillo can take a good shot but I think Hatton will wear him down in the later rounds and finish him off late. I think Hatton will be back on form after his last few below par performances as he hasnt had alot of time off and pilled on the weight like he has done in the past so I dont think Castillos body shots will hurt Hatton as much as people think.

This is tough, I am a fan of both men.. But here go's
To me its a matter of which fighter shows up.. Is it the Hatton that wore out and mauled Tszyu or is it the one that faded against Urango and seemed visibly shaked by the Body shots... As far as Castillo is it gonna be the one that is Lazy and performs like his last outing.... Or is it the Warrior that tore it up with Coralles, Casamoyer etc.... ???
Remember Ricky probably wont stir up the ruckus of a crowd like he does in England, Alot of people will make the trip, but far from the arena rocking that he usually feeds off of in a fight...
My official pick is.......................................... Its an even push, a PICK EM fight ;) too many variatbles and question marks about both men, to pick a clear cut winner :-\
Re: Very Supersticious ....The writings on the wall!!!! HATTON v CASTILLO
This is a great matchup....Hatton will need to work hard to win this. He can win it though.

When you say the bigger the fight the more he fronts up to it I guess you mean his 'one off' performance against Tyszu. ;)
He has no other big names on his record and after every fight its always case of 'I'll be better next time....'.
Still he is British and I like the guy a lot outside of the ring so I'll pick him to win against a fading Castillo on points.
I don't expect it to be a classic though, in fact I see round 10 -12 being contenders for the huggiest rounds of all time.
John Ruiz will be very proud.
