Taylor, Pavlik speak!

Kelly Pavlik tonight stressed his right for a title fight after a stunning seventh round stoppage of Edison Miranda in the WBC middleweight eliminator fight at the FedEx Forum in Memphis.

“To fight Taylor would be great,” he said to a rapturous crowd, still on a high from what is sure to have been considered one of the fights of the year.

Geez, did you see Pavlik's face in the post-fight pics? Both he and Miranda more than earned that paycheck, I'll tell you that.

Thanks and yea Pavlik looked mess but damn Miranda looked the bigger mess the state of his eyes was just damn nasty.

Miranda was looking like a mess DURING the fight. I can only imagine what he looks like today. Man, what a fight!
