Promoter Frank Warren has won the right to stage Carl Froch's Commonwealth Super Middleweight title defense against Ghana's Charles Adamu. Purse bids were opened today at the British Boxing Board of Control's headquarters in Cardiff and the winning bid was delivered by Warren.

A true joke if CF takes this fight, this is a sheer backwards step and i dont want to see my favourite fighter demolish this guy. Totally pointless match up, i think CF should aim for Inkin. The JC fight fell through, therefore he should go for another big name at 168 to give himself time to push maybe another world title shot. This wont do nothing to push him forward, i really am not happy :(.

no way will it be tough! the card should be JC-CF not fucking Adamu-Froch who he dealt with years ago! im angry about this fight because it doesnt do anything. the most CF can do is stop him, in very good and promising stlye!
Adamu came into the Froch fight having fought something like a week or maybe a fortnight beforehand. I dont think for a minute he could beat Froch but he will be a handfull.
Our man Gomez thinks this wont be happening so we will see?
i bloody hope it dont happen! froch needs to get rid of that belt. its bringing him down! keep us posted because its just annoying me thinking that he would even consider fighting this guy again!
