Was Whitaker a victim of bad decisons?

Poor Whitaker, he was always on the losing end of "bad decisions" (Ramirez, Chavez, De La Hoya), but I don't necessarily agree. I though Ramiez did enough and Whitaker not enough in their first fight, and I though Oscar outsmarted him by stealing rounds in thier fight. I do believe he got stiffed against Chavez. ??? ??? WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I thought he won 8 or 9 rounds against Ramirez (and he fought the last half of the fight with a broken hand) , 8 or 9 against Chavez, and 7 against Oscar.

The loss to Oscar isn't a robbery, it was just a questionable decision. The other two were robberies.

Only fight he lost was against Trinidad when Whitaker was well past it and his latest fight when he broke his clavicle if you can call that a real loss because i don't i scored Oscar fight a draw the other fights he totally outboxed Chavez and Ramirez and should of won for certain.

This fight is largely considered to be a robbery. The magazine "Boxing 88" scored the fight 118-111 for Whitaker.

Well i made a right mess on trying to bold your comment but i ment the Ramirez fight.

Yeah Oscar sure looked smart on those slo-mo replays of the round stealing flurries.

The De La Hoya one is tough for me, because Whitaker is my all time favorite but I don't know if he did enough in the later rounds of that fight during the championship rounds. A lot of rounds were made close by De La Hoya coming on late. It was a close fight, it could haave gone either way, I've got no problem with De La Hoya or WHitaker winning that fight.

Ramirez and Chavez were robberies. He won both of those fights with no question at all.

i don't think a fighter should be giving credit for stealing rounds. it's not illeagal but it's plain corny.

i'm still mad at ray lenard for saying he stole rounds against haglar.

The Chavez decision is the worst i have seen !!! Ramirez isn't far behind.
DLH was close but i thought Oscar won that one...just!
Whitaker was an outstanding fighter not given the credit he deserves.
