Scoring Fights

When you score a fight which do you prefer

Slick fighters who counter punches excellently but their shots have no affect on his opponent

Or

The aggresor who continues to push forwar, pushing the action. He is being outlanded but when he does hit it leaves a mark

I think effective aggression has caused a lot of fights to be scored incorrectly IMO,what exactly i effective aggression ?

It seems as though option number 1 is the obvious choice but if so many people scored the PBF-ODLH fight in Oscar's favour then a lot of fas most vote on the second

This sounds smart-assy and trite,but whose landing more,and landing with power
So to explain
Spinks/Taylor-Spinks threw like mad,but he wasnt landing crap,and when he did land,it had no power
Ali/Foreman-Again Foreman is throwing a ton of punches,but hes mainly hitting Ali in the arms

Slick like Cory Spinks however these fighters get ROBBED!!!

IMO it all comes down to who is controlling the action.

In the example of ODLH vs. PBF

ODLH was agressive but it was not effective, it was Floyd's fight, because he was fighting the way he wanted.
So how do you determine if a fight is controlling, well it depends on their style.

If they are a slick boxer it's hit and don't get hit.
If it's a pressure fighter it's how much can you smother the other guy.
If it's a slugger it's how much can you hurt the opponent.

Whoever executes their gameplan to the best of that definition is who I give rounds to.
So if Hatton was to fight PBF and in any given round Hatton was able to smother PBF with punches he wins the round.
If PBF can hit and not get hit by hatton he wins the round.

It is important in my estimation to take in to consideration general boxing styles as the goals
are all achieved in different ways by different styles.

This is because some judges score fights on who is throwing more not landing more
