how big are you.....if you're over 180 then you need to look at bags in the 40-50kg range....closer to 50kg....expect to pay 100-150 pounds....for a cheap one....everlast and ringside I've used...good bags.....

No disrespect Bigaragu, but can you please upload a video of you hitting the heavy bag, in that same outfit as you are in in your avatar. I would find it hilarious! I just cannot picture you hitting the heavy bag. There's a cool click in it for ya.

1 stone = 14lbs, so 15st is 210lbs ;)

if your over 13 stone go for the heavier bags.....a 35kg bag or roughly 70lbs is really light and you might spend too much time waiting when you throw power shots...it will move too much...a 50kg or 100lbs bag works nice because you won't have too much movement....the bag will pretty much stay right on you and you will have to work to keep it off you.....don't like the floor anchors but those will hold the bag in place....but I like a bag that moves a bit....

Personally I like to wear 14oz sparring gloves, cotton padded hand protectors and I've got a leather 4ft 35kg bag, rag filled punch bag, and it's fine for me. I like the way it absorbs a left hook to the body. I feel like going and punching it now but it's too loud for the neighbours ;D

I feel for you my man, my weight yo-yo's too, at the minute I'm 6 1' and 202lbs, I'm pretty stocky but I often get a proper gut when I'm slacking cos I love my food. If I didn't train I'd be as big as a house!
