Lewis vs Holyfield 2, why do some people dispute the decision?
After the first fight it was clear as day that Lewis won, but guess what the draw verdict is announced. Then in the rematch Lewis gets the right and fair decision this time.
I have noticed on this forum a lot of people actually think holyfield got robbed in the second fight why is this?

Holyfield fought alot better in rematch i haven't seen it for ages but i remember it being close Holyfield wasn't robbed but there could be a case for him winning but i believe last time i see it i had Lewis just winning.

Lots pf people disputed the decision, not just here. Sportswriters did also. I saw the 2nd fight at the pub, personally I thought it could have gone either way. Certainly it was not a clear victory like the scores had it. IMO the second fight was not judged on it's own merits. People knew that Lewis was robbed the first time, and the second decision influenced somewhat by this fact.

Agree with you, saw it a couple of weeks back annd it was a lot closer than I remember. Thought there was a case to award it Holy, but it was way too close to call it a robbery.
