Romero's work was not some much about zombies but other stuff. The zombies signified people in society that were avoided: the AIDS crowd, the homeless, even racial minorities.

....I seriously hate the homeless, if that offends anyone I am not sorry, I hate the homeless. 80% need mental help (it's a fact) and I am sure there are some who just got screwed but there are some I run into a lot who just panhandle and maybe even panhandle just for the hell of it....maybe I should say I hate panhandlers but whoever they are that beg for fucking money instead of finding a job need to leave me alone

I was very drunk and possibly stoned.....it was alleged but never substantiated :thumb:
I also frequented a Mexican restaurant in Greenville, NC which I later Bartended for....the sombrero was mine and not part of a uniform or anything. And Cinco De Mayo was just another day to wake up drink and be crazy as hell
