Mesi targets Rahman!

Unbeaten heavyweight Baby Joe Mesi (35-0, 28 KOs) is eyeing a possible showdown with former world champion Hasim Rahman later in the year if Rahman can get by Taurus Sykes tonight in Rochester, NY (Versus Network). "It would be a perfect fight for him to advance his career, it would be a perfect fight for me to advance my career," Mesi told Fightnews. "I'm here to support both Sykes and Rahman, but we really hope Rahman wins now because by the end of the year we can have a fight. And why go to South Africa and other places that are bidding for this fight? Why don't we have it right here in New York?"
