paddypower.com messing me about

i registered yesterday and put a tenner on the hatton fight, but i tried logging on today and my account has been blocked until i verify my i.d i have to send a bank statement and either passport or drivers licence (i have neither) so i sent them scans of everything i have with my details on from my university card to a payslip from work, none would work and my account is still blocked. To top things off they say they cannot refund my money until i prove my i.d, so i either and in there words have to forget the £10 or buy a passport for 50 odd pound.

this has to be against the law somehow it is my money i have deposited into the account and they wont give it me back,why should i have to prove i am who i say i am? my card has not been reported stolen and the money was transferred to them successfully so i don't see why there being like this.
