I watched Hatton against Castillo and I thought Hatton did what he needed to do.

I said before, Castillo's a shot fighter, and as usual when I disagree with the media, I'm right!

It's ridiculous, people look at me like I got ten heads when I said Castillo was shot!

I read Mike Woods' piece before I fought N'dou, too, and the comments after. I read TheSweetScience.com, I read all the websites. TSS has a lot of good writers, and they give good opinions, plus I know a lot of their writers.

C'mon, anybody with a right mind on boxing had to know that my speed would give Lovemore lots of problems.

Maybe people don't want to see me succeed, I'm flashy, good looking, I'm all the things they are not. Your opinion, Mike, should have been respected. But it will continue, that sort of stuff. But I'm only going to get better, so people better get used to it, or stop watching boxing. Because Paulie Malignaggi is going to be around for awhile.

Maybe it's jealousy, but I've seen it for three years. I'll give you an example. After Cotto beat Judah, people were talking about it being Fight of the Year. But I won more rounds than Judah, and people said my fight was a "beating." I'm tired of the disrespect. I'm sick and tired of it.

But I'll just keep on winning fights.

People sometimes say I'm arrogant, but I'm going to keep on being "arrogant," believing in myself.

Hatton mentioned my name as a possible opponent in the post-fight press conference, when the ball is in his court, he talked about me, even if people are saying there are no threats for him at junior middleweight. My performance was only a week ago so it's not like people forgot about me! I'm peeed off!

I do think Hatton's main goal would be Floyd Mayweather, but I think that's a one sided fight. At 147, that's not good for him. The best bet for him, for fan appeal, would be to fight me.

I say it respectfully, but there's no doubt in my mind that I can beat Hatton. He's just so flawed. It's not like Cotto, he's flawed, but he has that unbelievable power.

Hatton said the best guys he's fought are Tszyu and Castillo. Nope. Those were the most recognizable guys, but they were both finished as top flight fighters when he met them. The best fighter he fought was Luis Collazzo, and Collazzo beat him!

Really, I don't think Hatton looked good at all against Castillo. He was smothering himself. He's so one dimensional. Against a good fighter like Paulie Malignaggi, Hatton will be exposed.

I don't want to come off as disrespectful, I respect the things Hatton has accomplished. I respect his fan appeal, and he seems like a nice guy.

Me and Hatton could be in Madison Square Garden, or Atlantic City, we can do it anywhere. But not Manchester. He'll body slam me, or bring in chairs if he wants, like in wrestling, and I wouldn't stand for that.

Yes Hatton exposed ? unlike your good self Paulie againest Miguel Cotto :)

Paulie will not be the one to beat Hatton. i'm not going to say expose because that would make it sound like i think Hatton is a fraud and i don't think he is. I've come to like hatton during the past few years.

Im not suprised by what he's said either
he's not gonna say that he thinks Ricky could beat him is he :P
It'll be a good fight Malignaggi is a live fighter so this will be good for Ricky (no one will be saying he is fighting a shot fighter )

wont matter to Ricky where the fight is he knows his fans follow him everywhere!!!!But it's be nice to have a homecoming 8) 8)

Hatton beats Malignaggi. Hatton isnt all that one dimensional at all. He trains for a task in hand and does his job well.

hes right hatton will be exposed, but it sure as hell wont be paulie exposing him. he says castillo was shot, well so was ndou. paulie's skills are so overated its stupid. he has a decent acurate jab but thats it. even his movement is not great, someone that knows how to cut the ring properly will expose HIM.

I like Malignaggi I really do. He has the skills to outbox Hatton and the heart, guts and stamina to hang in there with him.

What he doesn't have however is a punch so if he's looking to beat Hatton it will have to be on points.

But as we've seen with James Toney against Sam Peter, Spinks against Taylor and Collazo against Hatton it's very difficult for the pure boxer to win enough rounds decisively against an aggressive fighter with power, especially if the judges favour power over technique.

I think Paulie would give him one hell of a fight and may even win in the majority of people's eyes but I don't think he can win a judges decision against Ricky.

For me I'd be torn as to whom to root for as well. I much prefer Malignaggi's style and find him a far more exciting fighter to watch than Hatton BUT Ricky is English. I'm going to be on the fence for this one I think.........

I think paulie is avery skilled fighter - to say he got exposed agaisnt cotto is ajoke, that was a fairly close fight, wasn't as if cotto made it totaly one sided...

i think hatton and paulie would be a hell of a close fight - cotto is stronger that hatton IMO and he dropped him once, but he lasted the 12, so i find it hard to see hatton stopping him... but anyhting if possible ofc!

Paulie is alot better now than he was when he fought cotto... it would be a very interesting fight. If hatton can't get a BIGBIG name at ww - he should fight paulie.

paulie would get beat by hatton.

i would still like to see the fight though
