A fight between former world champion Steve Forbes and one-time ballyhooed prospect Francisco "Ponchito" Bojado is close to becoming a reality for a bout that will take place on the Juan Manuel Marquez-Jorge Barrios undercard on September 15th said Forbes manager Mike Levy.

Pretty freakin interesting matchup. I haven't seen Bojado since his loss to my man Jesse James Leija. I did see him sparrin with Oscar on that Delahoya/Mayweather 24/7 show. Should be a good fight, hard not to favor Forbes just a little though.
I think Forbes is as focused as ever especially after his performance against Dhop..
But at the same time you have to consider that he lost that close fight to Brewer..And if im honest brewers a good guy..But hes not of the class that forbes should be.. So i can never put my faith to him entirely..
At the same time.. sometimes its good for a prospect to be stopped in his tracks..Checked.. and when he comes back maybe hes learnt something and matured.. Hes had some great sparring..his last fight went well for him..

I'd have to go with Forbes he's class in bursts if he had power aswell he could have been awesome.
I love this match up, great under card fight. I think Forbes takes it, but Bojado may come out a different man for once.
