10 Years Ago Today: Holyfield-Tyson II.

Everyone on this board remembers that fight as does practically everyone on the planet. I have a hard time believing that that was a decade ago myself because Tyson and Holyfield were said to be past their best (Tyson IMO was 10 years past his best and Holyfield was at the end of his prime). 10 years later both guys are making headlines for different reasons, but one thing is certain. Both guys are still the same as they were then for better or worse. Holyfield is still a warrior with the heart of a lion and the will to win, and Tyson is still able to draw a crowd and make a headline at the drop of a dime, If he were to make a comeback even now, people would tune in. But its crazy to me that this fight in particular was ten years ago. Tyson and Holyfield are really the last of a kind and when Holyfield done, it may be a long, long time before we see the likes of them again, if ever.

Man is that true? How time flies.

I still remember watching that fight. What a day it was. Very uncanny. I will remember it forever.
