amateur boxing can be absolutly brutal with corruption.....home town guys want their guys to win so some of them make some of the worst matchups EVER.....I mean a guy with 1 or no fights going against a guy with 20 or more......for those of you that haven't fought amateur this is friggin brutal!!!!!!! that kid has no shot...none......you learn more from that first fight than you will ever learn from any other fight period..that is if the beating you will probably take doesn't turn you off boxing for good......

Tyson had around 40 amateur fights and 3 losses im pretty sure. He avenged his losses in the pros though.
