His point was that Shane is still a sparring partner near the end of his career (for De la Hoya i presume) whereas Floyd is now a superstar.
Totally crap point by Floyd but that's what he meant.

I guess Floyd likes Shane too much to actually fight him, I mean, I know they are pros but he was showing genuine luv to his bro after the Vargas fight ( catch it in you tube 2), then he got really disappointed that Shane didn't want to fight him back then and had to fight another "friend"/foe in Zab and experience every stupid thang that took place back then. Then, Floyd got really hurt that Shane took sides and sparred with Hoya - even though that was expected cause they're business partners, Floyd must have expected that Shane would step aside and play neutral, Shane was also too damn biased just like Bernard was after the fight ( they actually sold their ass to Oscar a long time ago) and Floyd either thinks Shane doesn't have a personality and doesn't deserve the fight or they ( Floyd and Shane) really respect themselves too much to really get it on! The sparring comment is just another stupid thing Floyd said like the Hatton's bear tub, PBF vs SSM I don't believe it'll happen anymore 2...
