Mario Kindelan is the man who beat Amir Kahn in the Olympic final, but Kahn beat him in the re-match. Dont know a great deal about this guy but has he beaten any top pro fighters when they were amature, would possibly give an insight into how good Kahn could be..

I did spend a few minutes looking,without recognizing too many names though. He beat Andreas Kotelnik in the Sydney 2000 final - Kotelnik have been fighting for the title at 140, recently drewing M'Baye (apparently he should have won). Kindelan never met them, but other participants at that weight was Kid Diamond and Michael Katsidis. From 2004 I only recognize Khan.

It has to be said though that Kindelan was 27, while Cotto was only 17.

i also heard that he beat tito, i think this says alot about the talent of Kahn. By far it doesnt mean he's a finished article, but there's no doubt there's something special about the kid. ;)
