Re: havent been here for a while how am i doing?
Your jabs arent being driven for one thing, your combinations when you do throw them dont seem to have any purpose, and your head REPEATEDLY goes past your center of balance, you get caught with your head in that position your going down hard.
Re: havent been here for a while how am i doing?
but for a guy who's self taught, he's come a very long way.
Josh, you have to move more and loosen up. You're too stiff. Beyond that, I think your punches are very efficient and technically sound, and you seem to use your reach well. But like the trainer said, there are things that need work....but we all fall into that category.
BTW, we could do without the flexing, loser. ;D lol.
Re: havent been here for a while how am i doing?
Josh youre letting the bag dictate what you do you make the distace dont let the bag do it

Re: havent been here for a while how am i doing?
Loosin up, ur way too tense. Don't stand in one spot for so long. U don't need to be a nervous jack rabbit and run all over the place. But u should move around the bag when ur workin it. I didn't watch the whole tape. But what I did watch, I didn't see u throw more than a 3 punch combination (that didn't even happen much). Mostly just 1 jab, 2 jabs, or jab-cross-jab. Let ur hands go. But be loose/relaxed.
Keep training & good luck.
Last but definitely not least-------------Quit the flexin lil fella.
