I think whatever strategy a fighter adopts it has to be tailored around their own abilities.
I've never seen Amonsot fight but if he's a naturally defensive fighter without a stiff jab and punching power I'd say it would be suicide to go toe to toe with Katsidis.
If however he's maybe taller than Katsidis, can work a powerful jab and has a tough chin then he can try and back Katsidis up.
All depends on the kind of fighter Amonsot is.
I wouldn't be surprised! But it's gonna be like walking into the lions den!
Can't fight for three minutes a round, suspect stamina, prone to cuts, rubbish technique at world championship level. Oh well.
Shows what level some British fighters (Earl/Cook etc.) are really at.
