even though hopkins won a unanimous decision, I believe the fight was closer & bernard wasn't as sharp as he used to be. can trinidad take advantage of bernard's fading athleticism or does hopkins still has plenty to send tito into retirement once again.

absoloutly not, hopkins mayb be not as sharp but hes just as smart if not smarter, and trinidad isnt the same either, he hasnt fought in years and he isnt the same fighter he was wen he fought hopkins, he lost it, i think if they fought again hopkins wouild beat him worse, cuz trinada declined way more than hopkins

No,I don't think he could. I'd be rooting for him though but he would be stupid to want the fight and B Hop would be even more stupid for taking it from a respect and legacy point of view(although he may be enticed if there are alot $$$ involved)
Tito has already mentioned that he wants rematches with Winky & Bernard, also Tito is still reviered by all the puerto ricans and a lot of other latinos which means $$$ for Bernard.Quote:

I have to tell as a good Puerto Rican that Trinidad is one of my idols and believe me when I say that it really hurt when Hopkins beat him. I have to admit that it will be very hard for Tito to win this fight, specially is he has to move up in weight. I think 154 was the optimal weight for Tito and 160 his upper limit. If he has to move to 168 or 170 to fight Bernard, I see it even harder. Hopkins could box and KO him and I think this may happen again (unfortunately for me). But, a good punch can always send anyone to sleep, and we have to see if Tito still have that punch after these years.
Hopkins hasnt noticably slipped. Though Winky was flabby and beyond his weight he did just lose to Hopkins and did perform a clinic on Trinidad.
I dont see Trinidad winning at all. Probably a repeat of the last fight.
Tito would get beat down even worse because Hopkins is bigger now and Tito would be coming back as middleweight? He dont want none, IMO Bernard just cemented his legacy as top 10 fighter of all time.
Tito couldnt bring enough power to hurt Bernard at 158,why on earth would you think he could at 170?
And its not exactly like Tito's been in an age proof bubble
