Older fighters who still dominate
So what fighters over 33 do we know are still performing well or performed well?
The first one that comes to mind who is still fighting fine is Bernard Hopkins. The other one I can think of who fought alright after 33 was George Foreman.
Who else fought quite well after 33 or who is still doing a good job after 33 at present time?

winky was doing awsome after 33, lennox lewis done well, calzaghe whooped the number 1 SMw when he was past 33
quit a lot of fighters really.
Re: Older fighters who still dominate
toney did good after 33 in the cruiser and heavyweight division considering he was a middleweight, and the ease he did it with. not running like hopkins (eastman and trinidad)
calzaghe at 34 isnt slowing down either. i dont know what foremans on, the guy was gonna make a comeback in 2005!!! until his wife stopped him. i recently saw an interview of his and he's hardly changed, looks jus the same. im not accusing him to be on drugs but he looks really healthy.

Glen Johnson didnt even win his first major title until he was 33/34
Re: Older fighters who still dominate
I believe Shane Mosley is 35 and we'll know more about what he has left Nov. 10th. He's one of the top WW so I consider this as doing good past 33.

Yeah, he's definitely gotten better with age.
Re: Older fighters who still dominate
Dennis Andries springs to mind as a fighter who came into his own in his thirties. He didn't win the WBC light heavyweight title until he was 32, went on to regain it at the age of 35 and regain it once more at 36.
Re: Older fighters who still dominate
Vernon Forrest, Ike Quartey, ODLH(still could be most of the guys out there), Mosley, Hopkins, Calzaghe.

Actually Lennox did not become the dominate force he was with an unquestionable hold on the HW division until he was 34 or 35
Re: Older fighters who still dominate
Ezzard Charles
Joe Walcott
Archie Moore
Those guys did well in their old age.
Re: Older fighters who still dominate
Larry Holmes gave prime Holyfield all he could handle gave Ray Mercer boxing Lesson and imo should of won world title at 45 same age Foreman did but he didn't get the decision against McCall.
