Hatton Mayweather Crashpad Vegas feeler

Seeing as how a load of people want to come out for the fight and looking for a cheap way to do it I am putting out feelers to see who would be interested in renting a place for the weekend. I know its a long way off but I figured no harm in looking into it.

My rough plan is this.......

Rent a big house, 4, 5 or 6 bedrooms, with a pool and plenty of room. I'll also get hold of a mini van. this way I can pick people up at the airport and get someone who doesn't drink to drive us around. Most of these places are about 10 miles from the strip but thats all freeway anyway. If I can get 8 or so people interested then its worth a look.

I'm not doing this to make any wedge myself, although obviously I'll be crashing for free at the place.

Again. This is just a feeler, nothing definate, but who would be interested in something like this. You'd have to get your own tickets unless people want to get a block booking......

Any ideas?

You begger. It is a good idea, if it's on Setanta then I may well consider this. It's weird, because big fights of the past like Hagler-Hearns, Hagler-Leonard, Benn-McClellan etc were signed two or three months before the fight date and these days we're waiting half a year. December is a bloody long way off. And Vegas won't like us Hatton thugs rampaging one of their houses.

Depends on the cost...but I might be interested.

Sounds like a great idea Mr T, unfortunately I aint gonna be able to go ;) coz I can't leave my little one - jealous if ya do tho boys

If the price is right and we get a few more senior members of the site interested then its all gravy for me :)
