By the way... there IS another fight in November

Yeah, yeah..... now that Hatton-PBF is a done deal in December, Cotto-Mosley probably won't get much press (at least in THIS forum). But just like Cotto-Judah was more entertaining than PBF-Oscar, Cotto-Mosley will probably be more entertaining than PBF-Hatton. Why? Styles, I guess. Floyd's all about defense... Hatton is a clincher-mauler... who knows? The fight might be better than PBF-Oscar, 'cause Ricky will certainly press the action. Let's hope so.

Totally agree i think Cotto vs Mosley will be most exciting fight out of Hatton vs Mayweather thats why i watched Judah vs Cotto because you can gurantee it will be loads of action.

I think Mosley-Cotto will have no problem getting attention.

I think Mosely Vs. Cotto is the same matchup almost as Floyd Vs. Hatton stylewise, but Cotto and Mosely are willing to mix it up more. They tend to fight when on the inside and dont hold/tie-up. They both like to come forward, so Im voting Mosely-Cotto will be wayyyy more exciting to watch. Records aside.

If Cotto wins where will he be ranked and will he get a shot against Williams or winner of Hatton and Mayweather and if Mosley wins will he retire or take on winner of Hatton and Mayweather ??

I looking foward to this fight more. I think Mosley will beat Cotto in a good fight. Hatton- Mayweather isnt a great matchup. It just happens to be two undefeated champions.

I can't wait for both of them, and I'm still in shock somewhat that these matchups were made in the first place.

These type of matches are great for boxing - and long overdue. Let the best fight the best and leave us with little to argue about...but where's the fun in that?

well Oscar pressed the action (and all though i thought it was a good fight), and the fight wasn't FOTY, doubt Hatton will have much more success making it a great brawl

Actually there is ANOTHER fight in Novemeber as well, Calzaghe Kessler, and that promises to be the best of all of them imo ;)

Fuck I almost forgot about that one as well. I need to keep a diary man..what a year of boxing! :)

I'm actually a little worried because both the Hatton-PBF and the Calzaghe-Kessler fights have been signed, but I have not yet heard of the Cotto-Mosley fight being signed. I heard them say it was pretty much a done deal but no signing yet.


IMO Cotto - Mosley will be the best of the bunch. I also have high hopes for Taylor - Pavlik.
