Re: New respect for Hatton
Well he has made the mistake of pricing himself out of a fight with Mayweather before,I don't think he was stupid enough to pass another oppertunity up. I don't think Hatton has much choice,it was probably a fight in Vegas at 147 or forget the fight scenario.
Re: New respect for Hatton
I think the weight and place factors are gonna be HUGE. There's a world of difference between a Floyd-Hatton fight at 147 in Las Vegas....... and one at 140 in England. In the latter one, I would've given Ricky better than a 50-50 chance to win.

To be honest mate its also a business Hatton is not as stupid as he looks, he has been building on this fight ever since he beat KT, everyone is happy HBO have more money Floyd has more money everyone is benefiting from it being 18 months further than most would of wanted.

Well maybe so on Floyds part but Floyd fights as a Light Welterterweight not a Welterweight, Hatton will be weighing in around if not at 140, then come fight nite they will both weigh in at around 150, Welterweights usually weigh around 160-165, thats why Hatton is taking this fight at 147 cos in reality its against a 140 lb fighter.
