Ok, I have now seen the fight a total of 37 times in 2 days.....
Having said that I can almost guarantee that round 3 of their rematch fight will get the round of the year award....
Truly amazing...

He was the champ and deserved that much, tho as honest as I can be I think he would have been stopped in that round anyway.

I think Marquez could of survived the round. But Vazquez was coming strong. I give him his credit. Fight 3 might take awhile to happen. Those were some ugly cuts Vazquez had. They will take time to heal

Could very well be, Rafas definetly got heart and the track record of a vet of the sport there is definetly a possibility he could have found a way to survive.

Round 3 had the most back and forth action, I think they both got wobbled. Yeah Vasquez had some mean cuts on both eyes above the eye no less...Marquez had a nice gash under one of his eyes too. I cant say this enough...what a fight and what a pair of fighters. We arent gonna see two high level pros so evenly matched for awhile. Seriously its almost like a coin flip when these guys meet up. If pt 3 is anywhere near Cali, I will fork over whatever it takes to be ringside. I bet the third fight ends up in Vegas, give these guys some big bucks they definately deserve it. Props to both.

i just got done watching this fight again and i kinda agree with the stoppage. was it a little early? maybe. but when you look at the look on Marquez's face right before the stoppage, he was done. he was back pedalling and was 20 seconds away from being stopped anyway. that being said, the 3rd and 4th rounds were the best to me.
