Vitor Belfort's sister murdered, murderer confesses

The kidnapper and eventual murderer of Priscila Belfort, sister of popular mixed martial artist Vitor Belfort, confessed to authorities on Monday, according to Brazilian media.

Elaine Paiva, 27, admitted to kidnapping and murdering Belfort after receiving money when the gang she worked under was dissatisfied with ransom negotiations.

Paiva was arrested along with three others alleged to be involved in the kidnapping that took place in January 2004.

Police are going search for the body on a small farm near Rio, where Belfort is said to have been buried.

Just goes to show this stuff can happen to anybody. Gotta say a prayer for the Belfort family, gangs or no. Was thinking though if the murderer ever gets loose or paroled he better watch his back.

Edit: Didn't realilze this occured back in 04' oops. Either way happy they were caught!

Also, the murderer was a she.

I'm just glad that she finally confessed, and the Belfort family can finally get some peace.

Also on the plus side, the murderers told where they hid the body, so they can hold a proper funeral.
