Heavy Pschological Damage for BoomBoom
Man to get your first loss to a World Champ is fine but not even finishing the first round. This must be very hard for Rey as he's really touted to carry the torch after Manny leaves. But hey, hope he can cope up with this and come back even stronger. Ponce was impressive really strong and he means business tonight! Great Fight night for all boxing fans. Congrats to Gerry Penalosa too, the odds was 4-1 in favor of Gonzales.

A psychological Damage needs a psychological healing. I don't think DeLeon broke his spirit being that he's only 21 has a lot of bright future ahead of him. Maybe he'll go back fighting tomato cans again and get another world title shot.
Manny Pacquiao have been there before. Got KTFO twice in his early career but he's now one of p4p best.

as a fighter you gotta come to this crossroads in your career especially if you fight like RB or ponce. if you are a slugger/boxer, you have to expect to be KO'ed sometime or another. RB is young and he will recover from this. he just have to learn how to be patient and not to be overconfident. he also needs to learn how to defend and how to duck. hahha.. maybe manny can teach him a thing or two about head movement.
Re: Heavy Pschological Damage for BoomBoom
Yeah, I noticed that he's not moving his head. He also took heavy shots against his previous opponent but nothing compared to Ponce's power shot that had him out.
Re: Heavy Pschological Damage for BoomBoom
He's too young. That loss will not give a heavy psychological damage. considering that he has more to learn in boxing. wait until Boom-boom is in his peak and you will be amazed with his knock out power...and of course the chin to stand heavy punches.
