Yea and if this was a rematch outcome wouldn't change Rocky by Ko.

If they were at there primes which Charles certainly wasn't when they fought then Ezzard would be to skillful for Rocky. Points win for Ezzard.

I went with Rocky just because he really beat Ezzard. Though I dont remember ever seeing files of Charles ,I dont really know anything about him. ???

By the time Charles boxed Marciano the disease which he died from was rife. Charles was p for p ATG make no mistake when he won the title he was only a Light Heavy.

...Marciano was pretty much a light heavy himself....it didn't seem to matter much as Rocky had the power to KO him at any time in the fight and the pressure he applied was just too much for Ezzard

As with most of Rocky's big name opp they were pretty much long past their best when he faced them....This is why I have always been a detractor of the Rock....Not saying he is not worthy of the respect he recieves just a bit overrated IMO and the 49-0 throws a lot of judgement off...too many people look at the 49-0 not the whole picture......I am though a fan of the Rock


As for Ezzard....I don't think anyone here ( or at least our regulars )........in any way doubt the Fact Charles is an ATG............It wasn't until towards the end his losses started to mount and like you said he was past best and starting to suffer from his illness

No way Rocky Marciano the brockton blockbuster....although ezzard being the only guy to EVER go 15 with the rock...and like we say he was well past his best...it only makes sense to say he would win if he was in his prime...that said it did happen the Rock did win...so i think its fair we go on what ACTUALLY happened
